I Played WarioWare Inc Minigame

Wario is a Nintendo character from the Super Mario Universe, he is pretty much an uglier kinda shady version of the famous plumber.

I only knew this little fella from twitter and seeing him in the set of characters in Mario Kart 8. You see I'm really new to the Nintendo Universe, haven't tried many of it's promising games, especially the old ones that came either before I was born or a very baka baby.

So with my acquisition of the Nintendo Online, I decided to explore this whole new world of historic classics through their emulators. I'll be playing all the games in each old device app without any particular order and letting you see a bit of my adventure.

The reason I brought Wario in the beginning is that the first game I tried on the Gameboy Advance was no other than WarioWare Inc Mini-game Mania. As my first introduction to this character, let me say that I got an experience I really wasn't expecting.

This game is a bunch of weird levels filled with mini-games you have to beat in a few seconds to move forward and help it's various character, so they can have some relaxing time on the gelateria in the end.

The story is told with some beautiful animations of the past and some themes I never expected to see on a Nintendo game. Take Mona for example, in her story we need to help her outrun the police, so she gets to her work very fast. Like, I always imagined the company as this very kids friendly house, so running from the cops definitely wasn't on my bingo cards.

Dr. Cryggor too was a pretty funny surprise. The whole level is based on us helping him take a dump with some toilet animations. It was so stupid and fun, I remember some people entering the stream when I was playing this and just having so many questions about what the hell was happening.

Every little story is just over the top and fun, obviously I liked some better than others but nonetheless all of them we're entertaining and challenging enough.

Oh, and one thing I found pretty cool was that all the mini-games are based on already existing games. At first, I thought it was just some random weird stuff they came up with but little by little I was recognizing some Nintendo franchises like Metroid, Donkey Kong or F-Zero.

It's just so cool that they brought so many pieces of history into this little package. One thing I also appreciated, was the grid mode where you could train the various little games and get high scores in them. I found this after I finished the game and was left with a desire to play more of certain stuff, so this was a given.

There are also some cool modes for two players that sadly I can't try, but it sounds like a great time.

Overall I'm quite happy with my introduction of Wario, still think he is weird and not very charming, but it was fun hanging out with him. I'm excited to see what other stuff of him exists, and even more excited to meet the way popular brother Waluigi.

This is a fun addition I'll add to the games I play. Basically, since I'm the number one worst player of all time, I'll be rating the difficulty based on my baby skills!

For our first rating, I'll give WarioWare Inc a neutral love Katie. The game was quite simple to understand, and the levels weren't too hard, but there were some mini-games that were just too frustrating and impossible.

Hard-Work

The Struggle of Motivation: It's very common to see people call very high skill individuals talented, though most of them end up not liking this type of compliment because it erases the hours of training they have endured until that point. When we say someone is talented, it usually means that they have a natural aptitude or skill and implicates that they don't have to try to be good. Now talent exists, some people are more prone to learning certain topics quicker than others, but that alone doesn't make the individual, they won't progress much if they don't put the time to sharpen themselves.

Always One Step Behind

It's been a while since I've thought about this little blog of mine, a long time since I've felt the urge to come back and share some of my dumb words with my sweet void. As usual, my life has been pretty hectic, with lots of new things and new experiences, all pretty exciting but at the same time all pretty demoralizing. As you probably know, I've always been a shy and quiet kid, my teens were spent in my room alone playing video games inside the closet. This made me lose a lot of the experience in life one should get in its teenage years, this never bothered me before but lately I'm starting to see some of the consequences.   It's starting to really bother me how little I know compared to my friends and as I get to finally experience the things I missed in my younger years, I noticed how frustrating it is to deal with a world that already knows double of what you know. Going out at night and drinking, getting into my first relationship all these things start...

I Watched Den-noh Coil

Internet, Grief and Depression: I'm a big fan of a site called Anifem , where a bunch of people get together to write and produce podcasts about anime and how they fare within feminist views, everyone is really amazing, and I highly recommend checking them out. Since I found the site somewhere last year I've been going through their backlog, reading and listening to all of their content, and that's what led me to find Den-noh Coil, a show about young kids living in a reality where augmented reality glasses are a thing.
