 After the disaster of John Wick, I adventured myself, now with a new group of friends, into another April big release. We went to see Super Mario Bros The Movie. Mario is a character that pretty much everyone from grandmas to little kids know. It's Nintendo biggest mascot and one of the most iconic game characters of all time.  Like I've shared in my text about Warioware, I've obviously heard about him and interacted with his games in some capacity before. But only this year have I really sit down to play the games and fully experience the classics.  Nonetheless I like the Mario Universe and I have always been head over hills for his way cuter brother Luigi.  To celebrate my gorgeous friend Sensei birthday, we gathered with friends to our usual theater get together. The movie we we're going to watch, was one that made us all very excited. It was none other than John wick 4 after all, the ending of the tale of this legendary man. This is a well known franchise loved by many people that follow it since the beginning, me, I started with zero knowledge about it when I went to see the third movie in the past with the said birthday boy. John Wick 3 was outstanding, the characters we're fun and the stakes were high. It was like the build up to an epic finale where we would finally witness the important pieces in the board start moving.   I've been following anime for many years, now, but unfortunately, long gone are the days when I would watch every single thing that aired in all the seasons. These days, I still consume a good chunk of it, but less frequently, falling more into my gamer side and also diversifying to other media and experiences. One thing that still pulls me to this old hobby and forces me to actually consume all the good shows I observe on Twitter are my amazing friends like Momo and Sensei. Nothing like having great company to make watching a great show more interesting. Even bad shows can be great with good company.  MagiRevo was one of those animes. So since sometime last year, with so many new shows of Star Wars getting out and with me never seeing anything apart from the main movies. I made the decision to watch everything Star Wars in the release date order.  So far this has turned out to be an amazing decision. Not only have I rewatched some of my favorite movies, I've also had the chance to see shows like Clone Wars and Rebels that quickly became my favorite pieces in the franchise, presenting me to new interesting and amazing new characters, while further exploring old ones.  The movie Rogue One also surprised me, holding strong as a new favorite that brought a whole new meaning to the importance and impact of the first Death Star mission in the first film.  Now while watching some lego and animated shorts in between, I'm finally revisiting the controversial sequels.  Every week usually me and my friends have a movie night where we get together to watch movies and hang out for a bit, the last couple of movies we watched were the saga Pirates of the Caribbean. I had only seen them as a child, barely remembered anything, and one of my friends was watching it for the first time in his life. Overall the first three movies were amazing, funny and exciting, every new addition would leave us with grins on our faces and a huge love for the famous Captain Jack Sparrow. The only thing that I didn't enjoy so much was the fact that the superior ship Jack x Elizabeth wasn't canon, but I'm already used to not getting what I want in this department.  My favorite scene actually got a funny reaction from me, that scene happened in the third movie when Elizabeth betrayed Jack with a kiss and left him there to die.  When we talk about DC Super Hero Girls three things might pop up in our brains, first simply the image of the multiple female heroes on DC, second the cartoon show from 2015 and lastly the most recent cartoon that came out in 2019. Both shows showcase an alternative reality where the DC heroes are teenagers and frequent high school together.  Now I have never watched the original show, personally find its design quite boring. The second show however conquered my heart immediately on Cartoon Network, so much that I couldn't resist properly watching everything once it was out on Netflix. Our main heroes in this story are Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Green Lantern, Bumblebee and Zatanna, a group of girls that throughout the story fight villains, save the day and go through the hardships of high-school in a very simplistic and comic way.  Starting from the most obvious aspect, the character designs are amazing.   Heartstopper Great Representation: Heartstopper is a well-loved story about two school boys with different social circles that fall in love with each other, the typical love story of the nerd and the jock. I have never read the Webtoon that originated the story or the serialization of the book, but I remember seeing the latter around as a well selling book on my local libraries. So when it was announced that Netflix would be releasing a TV show, I was very curious about it, adding it to my watch list immediately.  My younger sister started the show much earlier than me, which knowing myself is not surprising, and immediately started to weave thousands of compliments about it, some of my friends too had told me about how they loved the show, so by the time I sat down on the couch to watch, I was pretty hype. Usually I hate being hype about stuff because it's a step closer to end up in disappointment, but with this production I'm glad to say my expectation were met.  Hear...

  Internet, Grief and Depression: I'm a big fan of a site called Anifem , where a bunch of people get together to write and produce podcasts about anime and how they fare within feminist views, everyone is really amazing, and I highly recommend checking them out. Since I found the site somewhere last year I've been going through their backlog, reading and listening to all of their content, and that's what led me to find Den-noh Coil, a show about young kids living in a reality where augmented reality glasses are a thing.
